What We Are: The 1 in 7B Foundation is a faith-based nonprofit entity under which ideas to serve like Jesus did can grow and take action to help others with a no strings attached approach. We believe such ideas and efforts can come from the most “ordinary” people who step out in faith to show how they can humbly become 1 out of 7 billion people on this earth to make a positive difference in people's lives.
Mission Statement: To care for people like Jesus did through service by demonstrating unconditional love and bringing hope, joy and dignity with humble compassion to those experiencing homelessness
Vision Statement: Initially, we'll serve those experiencing homelessness in Delaware and then expand into Cecil County, MD, Chester County, PA and beyond as we grow.

MARK PUICAN
Founder / President
Mark's passion for bringing hope and love to those in need stems from his faith and desire to follow the example of Jesus to serve. His camp-out experience at a struggling homeless shelter in efforts to keep it open was the spark leading him to dedicate his time to continuously do more.
TRICIA PUICAN
Vice President
Tricia has always had a love for people and making them feel special and loved. After observing her husband's efforts to help a local shelter keep its doors opened she quickly realized the positive impact he was making and the relationships he was developing with those in need. She knew in her heart her husband was being led by Jesus and wanted to share this walk with him and bring hope and restore faith to those who need it most.
